A Luxury Hotel in Tamarindo
Suites, terraces and garden walkways, with a rooftop pool facing the ocean.
We designed the interiors of Noam by the Sea, a hotel in Tamarindo, around a short palette of white walls, warm wood and black details, and left the tropical planting and the ocean light to do the rest.
- Location
- Tamarindo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica
- Our role
- Interior design of the suites and the shared spaces
- Materials
- Wood, textured stone, woven cord and black metal
- Photographs
- The finished hotel

Evening at the suites: lights wash the white walls up and down, between warm wood cladding, black frames and palms.

A suite in white and sand: black light lines in the ceiling, and a slatted screen shading the glass doors to the balcony.

The living area: a curved white sofa, a round table in black stone and a dark wood kitchenette, with the bedroom beyond.

In the bathroom, the organic frame of the mirror softens the straight lines of the basin, the dark vanity and the glass shower.

The terrace is furnished like another room: woven white cord chairs on wooden frames around a low round table.

Between the buildings, walkways run through dense planting beneath the rounded white balconies.

On the roof, wooden decks step down to built-in daybeds, under black and white striped umbrellas facing the ocean.
Carried from the suites to the roof, the same materials give the whole hotel one calm, recognizable character.
